The power generation principle of solar panel
The sun shines on the semiconductor p-n junction, forming a new hole-electron pair. Under the action of the p-n junction electric field, the hole flows from the p region to the n region, and the electron flows from the n region to the p region, and a current is formed after the circuit is turned on. There are two ways of solar power generation, one is light-heat-electric conversion, and the other is light-electric direct conversion.

(2) The direct conversion method of light-electricity uses the photoelectric effect to directly convert solar radiation energy into electrical energy. The basic device for photoelectric-electrical conversion is solar cells. A solar cell is a device that converts solar energy directly into electrical energy due to the photovoltaic effect.
