The Green Expo in 2018 was hosted by EJ Krause de México. The exhibition was strongly supported by the Mexican Ministry of Environmental Energy and CONIECO (The National Association of Industrial Ecologists) and has been successfully held for 25 years. . It is the most famous and unique international exhibition inMexico's domestic environment, energy, water and green city.
√ The exhibition consists of four major themes: environmental protection EnviroPro, clean green energy PowerMex, water treatment WaterMex, green city Green City.
√ In the 2017 exhibition, there were a total of nearly 360 exhibitors from around the world. TheUnited States,Germany,China,Canada,Australiaand other countries are exhibiting in the form of national pavilions, with an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters and 25,000 spectators from nearly 35 countries.

According to the 2017 European Solar Power Global Outlook report, it is expected that by 2021,Mexicois likely to become the seventh largest photovoltaic (PV) market in the world. The report predicts that the installed capacity of the PV market will fluctuate by 2021, withMexico's installed capacity reaching 14.1GW, second only toChina,Germany,Japan, theUnited States,AustraliaandIndia. Therefore, it is predicted thatMexicois likely to become the seventh in the global solar market.
The Secretariat of the Mexican Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) received environmental approval applications for a total of 834.6 MW of six large solar projects. The largest of these is the Proyec to Fotovoltaico Pachamama II 330 MW PV power plant in Puebla, which includes a 4 km transmission line and 942,857 solar modules. The developer is EnrNL. The second project, with a capacity of 99.9 megawatts, will be deployed in Guerrero, Chihuahua. The power station will consist of 351,360 photovoltaic panels, requiring a 1.29 kV transmission line and the developer Helio Chihuahua. The other four projects have capacities of 200 MW, 80 MW, 80 MW and 53.7 MW, distributed in different regions ofMexico.
